D-Eye Windows Sidebar Gadget
The Desktop Eye is a Windows Sidebar Gadget that constantly retrieves images from remote location. In tandem with a webcam software like Yawcam, you can use this to monitor your shop, store, or even home. This negates the need to keep a certain program open all the time and adds the convenience of being located right on your desktop. This initial release would only work with YawCam for the moment.

Known Problems:
This is more of a problem with YawCam rather than with D-Eye. The time stamped on the image is up to date but the image stays the same. This is addressed by turning on Motion Detection while removing all actions. This would increase CPU load by some amount but would hopefully be not too much to significantly affect performance. I’d post an update once a permanent fix or temporary workaround is found.
edit: This problem has been addrssed by the coder of YawCam with the latest version. So there's no need to activate Motion anymore.
